A client contacted us with a clear goal: AI-based translation of entire books, in this case a work of fiction from Swedish to German – quickly, cost-effectively, and without compromising quality.

The project consisted of several hundred pages of literary text with high demands on tone, consistency, and structure. Manual translation would have been both expensive and slow.

This made it possible for the work to happen step by step, in a controlled and traceable way, without forcing everything into one long and fragile conversation. The text could be handled in parts, the quality could be adjusted where needed, and the whole could be assembled again without losing structure or content.

The most important thing was not exactly how the technology worked, but that the process became stable, repeatable, and safe. In this way, we avoided both the practical limitations of ordinary chat tools and the risk that the model starts hallucinating when it loses context.

What would normally have taken months could be done in hours. And what would normally have cost hundreds of thousands could be carried out for a fraction of that sum.

For the client, this did not only mean a finished translation, but also a completely new economic reality: the threshold for publishing their work in a new market suddenly became drastically lower.
